Orange County Breast Lift

As a woman ages, her skin loses its elasticity and the shape and firmness of her breasts can deteriorate. Pregnancy and breast-feeding can also cause the skin to stretch and breasts to sag. About the Surgery

During the breast lift procedure we make an incision around the areola to and along the breast crease, remove excess skin and reposition the tissue and nipples. The size of the areola, the dark skin around the nipple, can also be reduced during the breast lift. The procedure can generally be performed on an outpatient basis under either local or general anesthesia. During recovery, you may experience temporary bruising, swelling and discomfort. Most patients express great satisfaction with the procedure.

Recovery

During the recovery period there will be restrictions on activity and you may be required to wear a surgical bra for several weeks. Some scarring on the lower portion of the breast is to be expected but patients generally find this to be an acceptable trade-off for a much improved breast shape and position. Most women can return to work within 7-10 days after their Orange County breast lift and return to normal activity within 4-6 weeks.
